We are thrilled to announce that we have opened a third location on the Bud Light Party Deck of the Tampa Bay Times Forum! The Hog and some hockey…what more could you want?!
“We are excited to have Holy Hog as a new concession concept at the Tampa Bay Times Forum this year. We looked around at several different local concepts and felt their brand and food quality aligns with what our fans expect,” Tampa Bay Times Forum General Manager Darryl Benge said. “Having them on our Bud Light Party Deck enhances an already great experience at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.”
At our Tampa Bay Times Forum location, we’ll smoke all meats on site, and carve whole beef briskets and pork butts as well. We’ll have a pit master overseeing the tried and true Holy Hog recipes featuring our very own rubs and sauces.
The menu focuses on Holy Hog specialties – Texas-style smoked brisket sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, and Tampa-made smoked summer sausage summer hoagies. All three meats are featured in “holy hat trick” slider combos. All sandwiches are built to order in front of the customer. Sides include jalapeño macaroni and cheese and corn fritters drizzled with maple syrup and powdered sugar.
“As a Tampa-based business, we share the same commitment to this community demonstrated by the first rate Tampa Bay Lightning ownership and Tampa Bay Times Forum management,” Holy Hog Barbecue owner Danny Hernandez said. “Holy Hog Barbecue is excited to join the Tampa Bay Times Forum and enhance the fan experience with our very best southern barbecue.”

Ladies and Gentleman… we have a winner. Our van is now aptly named “Hog Hauler!” Thanks to Justin Perry for creating this name! “Hog Hauler” won 34 votes to 15 in the final vote. We’ll be helping Justin plan his $100 value catered Gameday Party soon! Thanks again for voting! It was a blast!
